“Axioms for Life”

Hey everybody! Welcome back to Morning Thrive. It’s Pastor Craig here and we’re looking this week at axioms for life. Now, you may be wondering, ”Ok, what is an axiom?” well I’ll tell you, it’s not a car you can buy off the lot! An axiom is literally a statement. It is a term used in mathematics, logic, and in business and what it really means is, a statement that is generally held to be true. We use axioms all of the time like, “What goes up must come down, “ or, ”Only death and taxes are for certain. There are a lot of axioms that we have: “A man’s house is his castle,” or, here’s one I used to hear all the time, ”Hey Buddy, you make a better window than you do a door!”  These are all axioms and things that are generally understood to be true. Well, at our church not too long ago we went through some axioms that we feel like, if followed, would truly bring life. So, I’m going to share those with you this week. In Ephesians 5:15 it says, “Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise”. I think one of the ways that you live wisely is that you live by general statements of truth. So, I’m going to share these with you this week. It’s going to be a great week, see you tomorrow
