First Colleyville

New Member Orientation

At First Colleyville we recognize the need for formal membership. Formal membership in a local church is biblical, helpful for spiritual growth, and establishes one's identity with a local body of believers. It is also a qualification for leadership positions within the church. Membership is open to anyone who has:

  1. Made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
  2. Followed the profession of faith with Baptism by immersion.
  3. Attended one of our New Member Orientations.

Our New Member Orientation explains the mission and vision of First Colleyville. Offered the fourth Sunday of every month, this informal seminar helps people understand our discipleship process -- Explore, Connect, Grow, Multiply -- and describes the different ministries of First Colleyville. Attendees can ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere, and upon completion of the class, will be given an opportunity to join our church. Food will be provided.
