Administrative Assistant

Overall Responsibilities:  

Provide administrative support to the pastoral staff.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain online calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, travel and departmental events.

Uphold pastoral staff's confidence and protect the staff & congregation by keeping information confidential.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications

Work collaboratively with the other Administrative Assistants and provide support, as needed.

Assist with office organization and data/file management

Manage departmental needs

Create purchase orders and track spending to multiple accounts

Track inventory of materials and resources

Provide assistance with special events

Attend weekly Staff Meetings and periodic staff training

Create and manage project-based spreadsheets on an on-going basis

Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Familiar with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook

Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a plus


Requirements Include:

At least a bachelor’s degree in related fields

At least 2 years prior office experience

A committed Jesus follower and member at First Colleyville
